Cuphead is a basic run-and-shoot action game with a lot of boss fights. The images and soundtrack were painstakingly constructed using the same techniques that were popular during that era. These techniques include classic hand-drawn cel animation, watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz records. The cartoons of the 1930s served as inspiration for this project.
