You command the Core Cannon in Space Invaders as it sweeps across the screen, blasting at aliens. The goal is to kill every alien in the five rows of eleven. Every time they finish a movement and return to their starting point, they travel back and forth while descending one row. They intend to overrun the Earth, which would result in the player losing.
